Our special Technology Designer Magazine Luncheon on September 4 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. will feature a keynote presentation from renowned lighting authority Stephen Margulies who will talk about the business opportunities for all trades in the rapidly expanding intentional lighting category and where the industry is headed.

In partnership with CEDIA, the association of Smart Home Professionals, there will be two days of educational courses specifically curated for the design-build community. And back by popular demand, join us for curated tours of the trade show floor for an up-close, hands-on experience in order to fully understand how to promote better solutions for your clients.

Stephen Margulies

Stephen is a founding partner of One Lux Studio with over 35 years of experience. Stephen has had the opportunity to collaborate with an international roster of architectural clients and world class developers. Considered an industry expert, he is often sought out for his ability to contribute to the design process. Stephen leads global projects and a highly skilled collaborative team of lighting designers. His dedication to design excellence and ability to coordinate within complex teams has led to the successful execution of exceptional projects. His portfolio includes a wide variety of projects that have been recognized through numerous design awards, recognized by the IALD and the IES.

One Lux Studio is an award-winning lighting design firm based in New York City. Co-Founded by Stephen Margulies, the studio has gained a reputation for design excellence and technical proficiency. Their approach blends each partner’s distinct expertise with the creative ideas of our staff and clients to illuminate exceptional architectural environments.

From the world’s largest trading floor to a new boutique hotel in Union Square, their projects include interior and exterior lighting across a variety of project types around the globe. Tour Groups will meet at the specified time in the middle of the main lobby of the Convention Center. Tours will leave the lobby at the starting tour time, so be a few minutes early! You MUST be registered for Expo and have a badge in order to get onto the show floor.
